Very rare collection of 50 Natural History studies from the late 19th or very early 20th Century.
Entitled "Ensignement Par Les Yeux; Nouvelles Images d'Histoires et de Leçons Explicatives", it was published as one of a series of educational materials (the others relating to history and religion).
The studies are charmingly and beautifully rendered lithographs. They seem to sell individually online for around £150.
You will get an understanding of the style of the artist from the photos. I am only able to post 10 images to the listing but have photographed the entire collection. Please let me know if you would like further images.

The lithographs are in generally good condition. Where any print has been torn, the tear has been repaired. The front and back covers are tatty in places.
